I seriously love this Dentistry (Not sure if that’s how you say it) I was going somewhere up in Carlsbad for years, Even driving from Pacific Beach to Carlsbad 45 minutes each way, cause I thought they were the best and finally I decided to try PB smiles just a block from my home And I’m so happy I did. My recent visit was with The dental hygienist, Scott, who is really wonderful. He explained everything and was very gentle and efficient And a pleasure to speak with (When he didn’t have his hands in my mouth, lol) And then Dr. B came in to make sure everything looked good and she was Super nice nice as well well. I forget their names with the two gentlemen at the front desk were also very welcoming and polite. Couldn’t recommend this place more. They also have some pretty cool technology with taking pictures of your teeth before the appointment and quick x-rays and all that. 10 out of 5 stars!!!

I had such an amazing experience at my visit today with PB Smiles that I had to come on here & share… especially for anyone like me who has had bad dental experiences or anxiety about going to the dentist. I’ll be honest… I’ve always hated going to the dentist and usually avoid it 😅 But this visit was long overdue and urgent since I needed root canals. I was extremely anxious…i couldn’t even sleep the night before. From the moment I walked in, everything changed. I was greeted by the front desk/coordinator who checked me in, and almost immediately after, Steph called me back. She made me feel comfortable right away. She was so warm, welcoming, and personable… she started chatting with me in a way that honestly made me forget why I was even there. That alone helped calm my nerves so much. Dr. Hsin-Ti Chang and Steph were the perfect team. They could tell I was nervous and truly went above and beyond to make me feel safe and at ease. During the entire procedure, they kept talking with me, making me laugh, and sharing stories to keep my mind off everything. I genuinely couldn’t stop laughing at times… which is something I NEVER thought I’d say about a dental visit! Dr. Chang was incredibly gentle, and the whole process was smooth and much quicker than I expected. I didn’t feel any discomfort, and overall, it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had… honestly the first time I wasn’t overwhelmed with anxiety. On top of that, the front desk team was amazing. Since there was availability, they offered to do my fillings the same day so I wouldn’t have to come back, which I really appreciated. Dr. Shindo did my fillings after the root canal, and he was just as great. He was very considerate, especially since it was my front teeth, and made sure the color matched perfectly. Everything feels smooth and looks natural…he did an amazing job. I truly can’t thank the entire team at PB Smiles enough for turning what I thought would be a scary experience into such a positive one. They really took care of me and went above and beyond. PB Smiles has definitely earned a long-term patient. For the first time, I can honestly say I feel less anxious about future dental visits because I know I’m in good hands. Thank you so much!! 🤍
