When you make it to your 80s you are out living the life of your teeth, which is my case. I have always taken good care of my teeth brushing wise. But starting in my 60s , I've had to replace crowns , get root canals and have had 5 implants. Recently, at 82 I've had to have two complicated procedures and I feel very lucky that I have found a terrific dentist, Dr. Gee at Pacific Beach Smiles, also a excellent dental facility . The front office staff of Harjot and Paniz are very professional, knowledgeable, and accomodating to ones needs and questions and insurance issues. Dr Gee is a skillful and modern dentist and a likable person as was a new doctor Macias I met on my last visit this week who assisted Dr Gee on a procedure to replace crowns and add a bridge. No easy task. I have no reservations about giving a 5 star rating to PB Smiles, Dr Gee, Dr Macias, and the staff at PB Smiles if you are in need of excellent dental care.

I’m originally from Japan and didn’t know how to pick a dentist here. I was in severe pain and needed an emergency extraction. I was scared. I’m so glad I chose this office. Don’t let a few negative reviews stop you. They were nothing like my experience. The staff was kind, patient, and reassuring. Dr. G explained everything clearly, which kept me calm during the procedure, and the oral surgeon was excellent. Even after wisdom tooth extraction, there wasn’t much visible swelling, which impressed me. I’d absolutely recommend this place if you’re nervous or don’t know where to go. And tell them if you’re anxious. They’ll help you feel comfortable. Yeah, I love this place and I’ll be coming back.
